“How to get your business to expand globally”

Please join ECLUB for an afternoon Coffee Tasting & Sharing with Mrs Dolors Novell Pujadas Proprietor of Cafes Novell Group.

Cafes Novell Group was founded in 1958 by Mr Ramon Novell Vivó who was once a pastry chef making chocolate but by chance, started roasting coffee and started up the coffee business.  As a small family business, it is now hiring more than 100 people in the Barcelona factory.  Novell now has 60 years of history in roasting coffee, selling 600,000 cups per day in Spain.

During the 90s, the company increased its manufacturing facilities and started expanding throughout Spain, opening subsidiaries in Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Valencia, Bilbao, Málaga, Ibiza and Canarias. In 2011, the first international subsidiary of Cafès Novell opened in Italy, where it developed as a successful brand tapped into the Italian market.

Today the business has expanded to UK, Florida, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Join our coffee break session to have an interactive discussion on what to do and what not to do in business expansion.

Dolores Pujadas will discuss how her fathers legacy developed her to take a lead and develop the coffee brand and business across borders. She will discuss the real life insights and the real challenges and decisions in growing the business, from Europe to Asia and the making of a coffee shop to a  globally known brand.

Join us for a real life experience journey on how a small coffee shop grew into an international market.
