Tony Chan will discuss different perspectives of a startup financing, from the founders need for funding, Agents that assist in fund-raising cycles through to finding Angel investors for early stage funding and Venture Capital for later stage funding.
Tony will introduce and demo his APDealFlow corporate finance platform for distributing DealFlows and matching investors with the right investment opportunity.
Speaker's profile: Tony Chan
Tony is the head of Corporate Finance for Zetland Corporate Services where he advises international investors in Asian Private Equity opportunities. Tony is also the founder and CEO of Asia Pacific DealFlow, a corporate finance platform for Agents to create and share deals.Zetland is an early investor in AP DealFlow.
Previously Tony has 15 years experience in Asia in finance and entrepreneurial related businesses. In the finance side, Tony has worked in offshore fiduciary services as well as offshore banking based in Hong Kong and covering the Greater China markets. As a budding entrepreneur, Tony was one of the early stage internet entrepreneurs in Hong Kong during the dot com boom and had startups in online stocktrading and media streaming. His recent startups were Tunecard ( Angel investor) and isanz ( co-founder), and now APDealFlow ( founder).
Tony has an BSc and MBA from Strathclyde University in Scotland. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English ( with an interesting Scottish accent).
